Rockit Factory and RTI with a dash of Toronto.
RTI, Radio Tatras International invited Tatiana Oscarsson to their studio in Poprad, Slovakia on the 22nd of February.

"I get off the plane and whisked in to a 4x4 and off we go. The radio is on and I suddenly hear my name, something about web, Deep Purple and next they play Strange Kind Of Woman. I nearly fell off my chair. It's my favorite Purple tune."

In the evening Tatiana and Eric Wiltsher (RTI Managing Director) went in to the studio and broadcasted live for 3 hours.

"I've never done anything like this before. After the show we just sat and stared at eachother. It is a lot harder work than you'd think."

The show was a success. The text messaging system broke down and next day the service provider rang and complained as the respons to the show crashed his servers.

"3 hours wasn't enough. We didn't cover half of what we wanted to talk about. We called Finlay Morton on his mobile. He picked up and found himself live on radio while in the pub having a drink.

We called Jim Crichton in Saga and spoke about past and present. We called Jim Jidhed in Alien and talked about everything.

We're still sat saying 'we should have called so and so' but although 3 hours seems like a long time, it isn't. It's more like 5 minutes."

Currently in Toronto, RTI rang her again. Tatiana walked past the studio room while Saga's manager, Geoff Kent, and the mixing engineer, Andi Charal, were sat mixing the new Saga CD called Trust. Those who listened to the show today may have heard snippets of the new CD in the back ground. A couple of minutes in to the call Geoff Kent found himself to be live on radio talking about Saga's new CD, which is really sounding good.

Tomorrow sees the beginning of Canadian Music Week in downtown Toronto. More news to come after that.
